Thought for 2017 – "A Time To Grow Up"

Copy of GA1

“Go Forward!”

As a member of the GA’s at Wampee Baptist Church, we are continually learning more about God, His Word and what He has called us to do concerning missions.  We learn about missions, pray for missions, give to missions and participate in the work of our church.  Girls between 1st and 6th grades work together studying about missionaries and completing missions projects.  The girls earn badges for completing these projects.  GA’s also have the opportunity to attend summer camp and other events with GA’s from across our community and state.  This year GA’s turns 100 years old!  What a wonderful feeling to be a part of a Southern Baptist tradition that has molded and changed so many girls into Christ following, mission minded women.

GAscripture verse

“Give thanks to the Lord. Worship Him.  Tell the nations what He has done.  Announce how honored He is.”

Isaiah 12:4 NIrV

GAlifestyle verse

The Lord has shown you what is good.  He has told you what He requires of you.  You must treat people fairly.  You must love others faithfully.  And you must be very careful to live the way your God wants you to.”

Micah 6:8 NIrV

GA-Pledge-Badge

As a GA, I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by:

Learning about missions;

Praying for missions:

Giving to missions:

Doing missions;

And participation in the work of the church.
